What is Spot2Fakie?
Spot2Fakie is the collaborative map of street spots, skateparks, DIY spots and pump tracks for skateboard, BMX, rollerblade and scooter. Every spot is uploaded and maintained by the community.

Which sports does it focus on?
Skateboard, BMX, inline/rollerblade and scooter. When you sign up you pick one or more disciplines.

Is it free?
Yes: exploring the map, reporting spots, sessions, follow... all free. Some sponsored content (shops, schools, events) may appear in the feed among the other content.
02 Account

How do I sign up?
From the app: name, nickname, email, password, date of birth, country and one or more disciplines. The password needs at least 8 characters, an uppercase, a lowercase, a number and a special character.

Can I change my email or password?
Yes, from your personal profile icon select 'Edit account'. Sessions open on other devices are automatically logged out, for security.

What happens if my account is suspended or banned?
You lose access until reactivation (suspended) or permanently (banned). Your tokens are revoked. If you think it's a mistake, contact support.
03 Spots

How do I add a new spot?
From the central button in the app: enter a name, the location (GPS or address) and the type (street, skatepark, DIY, pump track). Photos, on-site facilities and opening hours are optional (but much appreciated by users). The submission goes through admin review and, if approved, the spot becomes public and you earn points.

Can I edit an existing spot?
Yes, you can update a spot's info and add a works-in-progress notice for renovations, ledge repairs, etc.

What is the 'works report'?
If you pass by a spot and there's a construction site, someone installed skate stoppers or anything else that makes it temporarily unusable, you can flag it with start/end dates and a description. Other riders will see the notice. You get points for each report on a spot, once per spot per day.
04 Points & rewards

How do I earn points?
By adding a new approved spot, an approved edit of an existing spot. Bonus on your first approved spot. Works-in-progress reports (max 1 reward per spot per day).

Do points have real value?
Yes, they drive the community leaderboard and will let you unlock benefits from partner brands and shops.

What is the leaderboard?
A ranking of users by total points. Updated in real time. You can see it on the app's Home screen.
05 Sessions

What is a session?
The moment you meet up at a spot at a set date/time to skate (or BMX / rollerblade / scooter). You can create one, invite other riders and view it directly in the spot details.

Can I leave a session after joining?
Yes, anytime. The creator can't leave their own session, but they can delete it.
06 Privacy

What do you do with my data?
We use it to run the app: profile, spot location, personal stats. The password is encrypted.

Can I delete my account?
Yes, from your personal profile icon select 'Help and support'. Your personal data is anonymised (name, email, phone, date of birth); follows, teams and favourites are removed; all tokens revoked. Irreversible.

I'm a minor — can I sign up?
Only if you meet the minimum legal age in your country (in the EU, normally 14). If you're under, parental consent is required.

I found a bug. How do I report it?
Email spot2fakie@gmail.com with screenshots or screen recordings and a description of what you were doing. The more detail you give, the faster we fix it.
