The problem

You know the feeling.

You land in a city you don't know. Two hours before sundown. You burn them scrolling Google Maps for a spot that might still be skateable.

You want to drop a session on Friday. Fifteen WhatsApp messages later, three answered, two flake. You end up rolling alone.

You see a clip that hits. You wonder where the hell it was shot. You dig through comments, hashtags, Telegram groups. Never found.

Spot2Fakie is the answer to those three things.

How it works

Three things, done right.

Find

Open the map. Filter by type (plaza, ledge, gap, rail), distance, latest adds. The local crew already did the work for you.

Skate with whoever's there

Drop a pin at your spot, now. Anyone in the area gets a notification. No more fifteen WhatsApp messages: meet new skaters without writing to a soul.

Give back

Add the spots you find. Verify info on the ones you skate. Win boards, shoes and discounts from the shops you already know.

Inside the app

What's inside.

Six things. No more, no less. Everything you need when you land in a new city with your board on your back.

  • Map by type.

Plaza, ledge, gap, rail. Not a generic list of 'skate spots'.

  • Photos, info, real conditions.

A spot isn't just a pin: latest photo, current status, who added it.

  • Live sessions.

Drop a pin at your spot, anyone in the area gets pinged. The local crew finds it on its own.

  • Community updates.

Spot bust by stoppers? Construction in the way? Whoever passed by flags it.

  • Crews & following.

If you skate with the same people, follow them. See their spots. Plan private sessions.

  • Points and real rewards.

The more you map and verify, the more the scene gives back. Boards, shoes, discounts from partner shops. No fake badges.

Founder

I built this app because I needed it.

They call me Bradipo. Fifteen years on the board, Puglia, Italy. Street, always.

One day at the park, Walker Ryan showed up. American pro, the kind you see in videos. We skated together the whole afternoon.

At the end I took him to the street spots of my town. He had no way to find them — no app, no map, nothing. He tried them. They ended up on his Instagram.

That's when it clicked: the problem wasn't mine. Even a pro who travels the world, without a local like me, would never have made it to those spots. That's when I started building Spot2Fakie.

I'm building it alone. First professional tech project I run end to end. Every product decision I make as a skater first, founder second.

Manifesto

What we believe.

The street is for whoever skates it. Not for the locals who keep it like a trophy.

The park is training. The street is the proof. Skate only in the park and you're missing half the game.

You don't need lessons to learn. Skating is learned by falling, not from a coach.

Travel time is sacred. Two hours of daylight aren't for scrolling Google Maps.

A skate app built by non-skaters shows on the first tap. We're skaters first, developers second.

The community isn't monetized — it's supported. Independent shops are partners of the scene, not an ad audience.
